India - Portugal Science & Technology Conference

Welcome Message

Dear scientists, academics, experts and industry representatives,

On behalf of the organizing committee, I am delighted to extend a heartfelt invitation to you to the second edition of India-Portugal Science and Technology Conference, which will be held on 26 March 2026 at Universidade Lusófona, Lisbon. After the success of the first edition in 2025, the year of commemoration of the reestablishment of the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between India and Portugal, we decided to continue this scientific tie between two countries.

This conference showcases the contribution of Indian researchers to the development of science and technology in Portugal and strengthening the research and development collaboration with Portuguese Professors, researchers, institutes, universities and industries. The development of scientific and technological research developed in Portugal highlights the dedication, expertise and innovative spirit of the researchers from both countries in various universities and industries in Portugal.  

This conference aims to bring such invaluable contributions in one platform and explore the current state of scientific and technological collaboration between India and Portugal. Through keynote speeches, oral presentations, poster presentations and interactive sessions, we will search into the shared achievements of both countries and the immense potential for future cooperation.

The outcomes of this conference will provide a roadmap for enhancing cooperation in research and technological innovation between India and Portugal. By fostering closer ties in this domain, we aim to develop joint scientific projects, promote knowledge exchange and encourage cross-border collaborations that will shape the future of both nations.
