Curriculum vitae

Candida Manuel is an associate professor at the Lusófona University of Porto (UL-CUP). She is also the Environmental Engineering degree program director and works as a researcher. At the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Engineering, and Technologies (FCNET), he teaches engineering courses such as mathematics, statistics, analytical chemistry, and water quality and treatment. Currently, her research is on indoor air quality and microbiology, environmental sustainability, and water quality. In 2008, he completed his PhD in Engineering Sciences at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) on the physical-chemical and microbiological quality of drinking water and the effects of biofilms and materials from water distribution pipelines. In addition, he has a master's degree in Chemical Process Engineering (2 years) and a degree in Chemical Engineering (5 years), both from FEUP.
