Kalina Samardjieva holds a PhD in Environmental Science and Technology from the Faculty of Science of the University of Porto (FCUP) and a Master in Ecologia da Paisagem e Conservação da Natureza, also from FCUP. Since graduating in Environmental Sciences, her research interests have been focused in the area of Environmental Remediation.Currently she is an Assistant Professor at the Lusófona University of Porto where she teaches several subjects in the undergraduate courses of Environmental Engineering, Civil Protection Engineering and civil Engineering.
