Ricardo Jorge Ferreira Faustino is a professor and researcher specializing in Medical Imaging and Biomedical Sciences, with an academic portfolio that spans a Bachelor's in Radiology, a Master's in Developmental Biology, and current studies in Veterinary Medicine. Holding a PhD in Biomedical Sciences (Neuroimaging) from the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Coimbra, he brings extensive expertise in higher education and advanced scientific research. His work is anchored in a pioneering "One Medicine, One Imaging" framework, designed to build bridges between human and veterinary medicine through shared imaging practices. His professional activities encompass advanced research in (bio)medical imaging and biomedical investigation and biomedical research using the C. elegans biological model.
